A Universal Framework for
Harmonious Balance
Experience the mechanical reality of the human experience through the 18 Universal Laws of Ghedee — a technology for the human machine.
“Ghedee Philosophy exists as a universal technology for the human experience.” — Wiah, Ghedee Master
Ghedee (JEE-dee) is not a religion. It is a philosophy of living—a practice rooted in over a thousand years of knowledge from the lineage of the Khran and Sarpo peoples of West Africa’s coastal regions, now translated for the modern world.
Its aim is harmonious balance—both internally and externally—through engagement and alignment with objective truth and objective reality.
The Foundation
The Philosophy
At its core, Ghedee philosophy offers a 360-degree Universal Perspective — one built on objective truth and free of judgment, beliefs, and projections. It is a perspective grounded in the laws that govern all existence.
Subjective Illusion—Psychosis
When the foundation of your moment-by-moment perceptions and engagement is primarily comprised of personal, religious, cultural, or political “truths,” you are misaligned with objective reality. You are living in illusion, and the consequence is a continuous state of emotional, mental, and physical suffering — no-end-in-sight-suffering.
Objective Reality
Objective reality is the sum total of all the actual facts and objective truths of any state, situation, or circumstance. It is not an interpretation — there is only one objective reality. When your perceptions are grounded in the current actual facts, you can attain and maintain a 360-degree Universal Perspective, and harmonious balance becomes a direct consequence in each present moment.
The 3 Bodies
The foundation of human experienceHuman beings experience the world in 3 ways—emotionally, mentally, and physically. We each have three bodies that correspond to those modes of experience: an Emotional Body, a Mental Body, and a Physical Body
The Emotional Body
The electromagnetic field governing all sensing, as well as the creation of feelings, reactions, and the electrochemical circuits we create and hold in the body. The emotional body is where we experience the internal and external nonphysical world, and the first domain where misalignment with objective reality manifests as suffering.
The Mental Body
The electromagnetic field governing the creation, processing and correlating the emotions, sensations, and perceptions received from the emotional body. It operates by generating a continuous sequence of concepts, ideas, and thought processes. These manifest as beliefs, judgments, projections, and the narratives we project onto all reality. Beliefs are not facts. When we choose to hold personal truth as objective truth we create endless suffering—no-end-in-sight-suffering.
The Physical Body
The endpoint of all experience — the smallest and most fragile of the three bodies. It is the physical manifestation of our emotional and mental energetic states of being. The physical body receives information in the form of electromagnetic impulses from the emotional and mental bodies and then takes uncountable actions based on this information in the form of electrochemical impulses and processes. True physical harmony can be sustained only when the emotional, mental, and physical bodies are in alignment with objective reality.
The Primordial Loop
The foundational cycle of all existenceNon-existence
Where everything to be perceived or imagined lies at the same instance — undifferentiated, whole, infinite potential. The source from which all things are drawn forth—nothingness.
Existence
Where everything perceived or imagined is separated from everything else. The first act of differentiation from the infinite whole—nothingness. The beginning of all there is.
Manifestation
Where it is present in what we call objective reality. The fullest expression of energy’s will — visible, tangible, in form. You are here, now, in manifestation.
Transformation
Where it ceases to be what it was in manifestation as it returns to non-existence. The completion that is also the beginning. Growing and dying simultaneously — the return to nothingness.
The nature of all there is is recursive. Every manifestation contains its own primordial loop. Everything is a fractal of the one.
All Universal Laws are born from the Primordial Loop.

Meet Wiah
Ghedee Master · Philosopher · Facilitator · Born a Ghede
Wiah is a Ghedee Master with over 40 years of experience as a philosopher, teacher, and facilitator. Born on the west coast of Africa in Monrovia, Liberia, Wiah was inducted as a member of the Ghedee Society at birth. The main objective of this society is to understand the human being — emotionally, mentally, and physically — from the Universal perspective as pure energy, and, based on that understanding, facilitate in alleviating human suffering using Ghedee philosophy and its principles.
The name Wiah means “the first one, the beginning of everything.”
A Ghede is anyone born with an innate, practical understanding of the energetic structure of all there is. In our tradition, such a person is called a Ghede. A Ghede can be born into any ethnicity or culture. Within our tradition, a Ghede is trained in the rites of Ghedee Philosophy to teach and facilitate the practice of Ghedee.
Wiah began his formal Ghedee training at age nine under the guidance of his mentor, the late Grand Zoe Dae Wolo.
After relocating to California during the Liberian civil war, Wiah earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from UC Davis. Following a career in corporate America, he returned to his life’s work — translating the ancient truths of Ghedee philosophy for a modern global audience.
Wiah founded The Ghedee Centre in the United States in 1992. He is a master of over 360 Ghedee disciplines, integrating techniques including Vibrational Therapy, Bio-Emotional Synthesis, and Breath Therapy into his one-on-one facilitation practice.
His life’s work: that all human beings break free from self-induced cycles of suffering and awaken to the truth of their primordial existence.

The Ghedee Centre
The practical arm of Ghedee Philosophy — Ghedee philosophy in practice, founded in 1992 in Alameda, CA.
A Place of Learning
The Ghedee Centre is grounded in the transmission of Ghedee philosophy — the same knowledge Wiah received through lineage and 40 years of practice. Every engagement is an act of education and remembrance.
Healing & Guidance
Using over 360 disciplines, Wiah works to identify and dissolve the root sources of emotional, mental, and physical suffering — not the symptoms. The work addresses misalignment with objective reality directly.
Awareness & Balance
All work at the Ghedee Centre is designed to awaken a Universal Perspective within each individual — creating the conditions for harmonious balance that extends from the internal outward into every relationship and environment.
The Bridge to Practice
While Ghedee Philosophy provides the intellectual framework, The Ghedee Centre is where the 18 Universal Laws become a lived, embodied reality. Theory becomes practice. Understanding becomes transformation.
